Time to reflect on a month and half in Morocco

I left Morocco yesterday, time to reflect about the month and a half I´ve spent there.
The first part of the trip took me from Tanger in the North to Chefchaouen with its cedar forest, Cascade d'ouzoud is one of the great place of Morocco not yet invaded by tourist and very refreshing. I went though the Atlas with it's gigantic moutains and then went for 16 days windsurfing with some friends which ended with a two displaced ribs and forced rest with a trip to Sahara. It's a beatifull place, people are the most friendly I've seen in Morocco. I' ve done many of the off road tracks out there and came back for 14 more days of windsurfing, a need to pass my gybes better wich was succesfull thanks Fabrice and a need to pass a backloop. I need to practice some more for the back loop. I'll get it before the end of my trip.

Left for the south west to go on a two days camel trip.
Doing this I've done all the road coming and leaving Ouarzazate, north is hard moutain roads, very desert, south is a very nice gorge and the desert again, west looks somehow like swiss with it's moutain and east is the only way to make it without the moutain road (it's between moutains).
I met a lot of good people out there.
Special dedicace to Fabrice (the gybe), Dominique for her warm welcome in Sidi Kaouki, Yacine for good laughs (not the forecast)

The first windsurfing team: Nico, Javier, Antonio, Diego, Borja, momo?
A lot of progress in my spanish, some nuclear days windsurfing, a big pain in my chest, Nico's beach, l'hotel desir...

The second windsurfing team: Fab, Fabrice (gybe man), Manu, Sidi Merlin, Seb.
Stolen shoes on the beach, a dent in my ego at chess with Fab, Fabien traveling all around the spot with is kite, THE GYBE! My first surf front side, getting to know Bertrand

The third windsurfing team: Michelle, Fred, Mimi, Pierre luc.
Some progress in my Canadian Calice, Maganer, gosser...
Some great windsurfing session in Sisi Kaouki and Taguinza.

The best times where:
Cascade d'ouzoud, nice bath and hikes
The moutains roads motorcycling
The gybe
l'hotel desir
lunch with Dominique in Tidzit
The 70 km ride on the beach at low tide
Fort bou Jerif going off road
The Moroccans always friendly, smilling and f... good with directions
The camel trip in Oulad driss + a great moment of solitude trying to speak with the Berbere guide
The couscous with Halima and Lora Dora?
The first night in the desert, great silence, beautiful stars, great sleep.
Coming back from Sahara to see Anna

The bad times:

My first backloop and my ribs
my knee and the blue moutain
the daysof rain trying to head back to Tanger
Crossing the atlas moutains with la turista
Losing so many games at chess
700km in one shot to go back to spain
Les putains de Tagines
the mint tea
my second night in the desert, wind, I'm sure I heard a snake, hot, no stars, can't sleep

All together a great trip! Mind opening (I don't know who asked me if my trip was mind opening, sounded sarcastic at the time) so yes it is mind opening. Thank you.
4000 miles motorcycling off road, on roads that are not so bad, the food was great at Dominique's, ok else where at least I didn't touch the shrimps of the spanish team.

Time to go now.

Ate Mais gatinho...
